Alan has been the stadium announcer at Manchester United, ("the Voice of Old Trafford") since 2000. He also has the distinction of having been the stadium announcer at Manchester City and Wembley National Stadium. He has also worked on local radio in Manchester and is a published author. Alan now finds himself the public voice of a global brand, be it for United or whenever there is a concert at Wembley National Stadium.
It is without doubt "The Best Job In The world" and the role of the stadium announcer at Old Trafford also has an important commercial role to play which involves anything from encouraging visits to the Club website, the club's charity activities, or notifying those present of the day's match sponsor. The job also incorporates many voice-overs for radio commercials, documentaries, which includes a variety of popular mobile phone ring-tones.
The past year for Alan has seen a busy diary of Corporate events for clients which has also included going on the Manchester United 2012 Summer Tour of South Africa and China; Corporate events have included working for AON, DHL, Chevrolet, Nike, Hublot, Turkish Airlines, Thomas Cook, Yanmar, bwin, The Premier League, Manchester United Soccer Schools, Manchester United Foundation. One of the highlights of the year for Alan was to work at the Olympics which took place at Old Trafford Stadium.

Alan has been the Voice of Old Trafford for years, as well as plenty of other venues!
